National Entrepreneur’s Day – an annual event the third Tuesday of November — honors those who have built a business from absolutely nothing. Radical inventions by brilliant minds have shaped the way we live today, not to mention our future. Minnesota has had many great entrepreneurs, but we don’t make a big deal about it.

Minnesota government leadership touts expanded worker rights and benefits, and says Minnesota is the best state to raise a family, get a superior education at all levels, and seek quality healthcare, but has done little to advance the role that entrepreneurs have played to bolster our job-creator economy, and make Minnesota one of the best places to do business as well as to find a high-paying job. Our state cannot be among the best places to work if it’s a bad state in which to do business.
